Default Wrong Address?

You can use BCC on OE.

To use the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) feature, In Create Mail, either click
ViewAll Headers and type in the addresses separated by a ;

Or: Click the To button. You will see your list of contacts and the choice
of putting them in the To, CC, or BCC field. Click on an address, then click
BCC to add it. Repeat for all the contacts you want. (Note: Most ISPs have
limits as to how many e-mails you can send a one time. 25 is common, but it
varies).

Put your own address in the To box. This is the only address/name that any
recipient will see. If you leave the To field blank, some people may not
receive the e-mail due to message rules they have set up, or restrictions
set by their ISP.

See:
http://www.somewhere-in-time.net/tutorial/OutlookBCC

**************************************
If you wanted to let people in your Address Book BCC you, (they will not
know you didn't receive the mail), it is simple to do.

Where the From line contains people
Stop processing more rules

Click on Contains people and click Address Book. Click on the first address
to highlight it | Scroll down to the last address | Hold down the Shift key
and click on the last address. Now they are all highlighted | Click From and
all the addresses are added at once.

Three minutes to do, tops.

I just created the rule you suggested, tested it to see that I am receiving
mail where I am in either to or cc and then tested where I was a bcc and
the rule works as intended deleting the where I am a bcc but allowing it to
inbox if I am in to or cc ( and even if a friend does bcc me I don't want
it.......if they try to email me that way and it does go into the delete
they will know not to bcc againother wise I would have to list all friends
I might receive from who would bcc???) I looked for but did not find any
OE ability to bcc and Incredimail doesn't have bcc either but my yahoo.com
mail did and that is how I tested by sending from my yahoo mail to my OE
mail. Thank you so much because I have never utilized the options of the
message rules before now.

What Ron is saying is if you get BCC mail from a friend, not a Spammer,
creating this rule will allow BCC from your friend, but not other people.
Your friend isn't going to keep changing the From an To fields.

Where the From line contains people
Stop processing more rules
Click on Contains people and Add the address your good BCC comes from.

I just tried both ways and learned something new again.....You are very very
knowledgeable of OE and I thank you for sharing that with us all. Now
hopefully I will no longer get all that spam via my address in bcc again and
all I have to do is empty my deleted items and I have learned an easier way
to address my outgoing mail. Thank You Very Much!

Default Wrong Address?

You're welcome, Yolanda. Trust me. As long as you use a computer, you will
continue to learn until the day you stop using it.

It appears from this post that you chose Delete it & Stop processing more
rules for the BCC rule. That is fine, but it will send the rejected mail to
Deleted Items where you still have to get rid of it.

Let the rule be that way for awhile and see how it goes. I after a period of
time, you find no *Good* mail in Deleted Items, then I would modify the
message rule to Delete from server, rather than Delete it. This way, it will
never reach your Outlook Express, period.
