I am using Outlook Express 6.0. However, I dont find the option for
"Identities" in it. I am sharing my computer with other people and
therefore, need password to secure my mailbox. Is there any option. If yes,
where is that?

Thanks,

Danish

In OE: File | Identities | Add new identity. If you do not see this, you may
have a damaged identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new
one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages from the old
identity and delete it.

You could create another Windows user. This will get a new OE Main
Identity.

A reinstall of OE might bring back the Identities feature.

How to Reinstall or Repair IE6 and OE6:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378

Although written for WinXP, it works for all Windows operating systems 98 or
newer.

If you are using WinXP/SP2, and it was not already on your computer from the
factory, you will have to remove SP2 first.
