export address book from OE5

Have a brand new computer. Can export address book from a nearly new
notebook (WIN XP, OE6) to floppy or CD easily (Address Book, export, address
book (WAB), etc.) easily. However, when I try to do the same thing on my
old WIN98, OE5, the same process doesn't work. All I get is one address,
the same every time. Can someone tell me why the export process isn't
working on OE5?

Yes, File | Import | Address Book for OE 5.01 and up.

5.01 there were changes made to support Unicode and they won't import into
5.0 or 4.x versions.

Hi Fred,

You could try exporting the addresses as a comma-separated values (*.csv)
file instead.
