can't open link in email

I downloaded I.E. 7 (beta version) and now when I open an email in Outlook
Express and there's a link that I want to open, I can't.

When I click on the link it opens a folder that says Leigh.TOSHIBA-LAPTOP.
In the address bar it shows C:\Documents and Settings\Leigh.TOSHIBA-LAPTOP.
Under that are the following folders: Desktop, Favorites, My Documents,
Start Menu, Windows, ntuser.dat.

Please can anyone tell me what happened and why this opens instead of the
page I'm trying to go to. I sincerely appreciate any help.

[Control Panel Add/Remove Programs ] Set Program Access and Defaults
Browser: IE *must* be chosen here if you're running IE7 Beta 2 Preview and
want such links to work.

Beta testers of IE7 Public Preview are asked to post their comments to

Thank you so much PA Bear. I followed your advice and it now seems to be
working fine. I would have never known to go to "Set Program Access and
Defaults".
Sorry about posting to the wrong group.

YW. We might see different behavior (i.e., be able to open links in another
browser) when IE7 is finally released.
