2/29/08....
I want to put an "away message" in my Outlook Express E-Mails. The
instructions tell me to click on tools, then on "my online status"....but it
is grayed out. How do I get it to be an active field???/

That would be for Messenger.
For OE you must use Tools | Message Rules, but OE would have to remain on
and checking mail every ## minutes. Spam would be answered too. It would
be much better to see if your mail provider offers such a service.
