XP PRO IE6 OE6 fail/corruption
My computer went haywire last night. I lost my LAN and Internet connection.
After much work I now have my Lan and internet back but OE will not pick up my folders. I have many copies of my folders: I just can't get them adopted by OE. The computer problems occurred when I was doing a compact of the system. I had just ticked "work off-line" and initiated the "folders compact" when everything went. I have tried the "tools/options/mtce/store folder" thing repeatedly without success. I have just run EasyOutlookExpressRepair.exe which states: "The setup files are corrupted, please obtain a new copy of the program." Urgent help required. |

Thanks Michael.
I got out of it by renaming Folders.dbx (didn't have the courage to delete). Everything OK apart from the work of reconstituting all the folders hierarchy. I suppose that is the information that was corrupted since I seem to have all my folders. "Michael Santovec" wrote in message ...
