I often forward a website using File, Send, Link by email and have done this
successfully for years. The subject line always had been descriptive of the link being forwarded, but with this version (6.00.26) the subject line always reads "Emailing ![]() rectify this? |

You mention 6.00.26, but you posted with
X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3138 Are you posting from a different version? If you look at the Help, About Outlook Express, different DLL files have different versions. As for the send a link, I get different results depending on the web page being sent. With some web pages, it says emailing: url of the web page. With some, it uses part of the HTML Title tag. With others, it seems to be the part of the URL after the domain name up to the first punctuation. I'm not sure how OE or IE is choosing. It's probably IE that is doing the subject generation. I'm using the same version of OE as you with IE6. If you are using IE7, that could be part of the issue. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "SavvySurfer" wrote in message ...
