Are you overlooking the Ctrl-h keyboard toggle for it? ; )

Nope. Can't overlook something if you don't know about it in the first
place!

Sorry. I forgot that it wasn't well documented.

Nice.

But still, there should be an option to change the font color of message
headers based on some condition. You can do this for "watched messages",
ToolsOptionsRead tabHighlight watched messages.

Wow. Talk about overlooking something. I never realized that was there.
I always thought that Watched Messages were Red and that was it.

Thanks! ; )

So, I can actually do what I want if:

I "watch" every message I repy to then I can change the header color

So, does that enable a mixture of colors somehow?
I would have guessed that it was just a toggle.
E.g. Red by default but change to something else as preference.

In fact, there is a way to get different colors on messages using rules
but it has always seemed too awkward to set up and use to be practical,
especially if you would like to apply them to a subset of messages,
such as a view, manually, *after* they have arrived. I know that some users
have a fairly elaborate coloring system but I have never seen it described
in sufficient detail to tempt me to try using it.

Sort on a different column like Sent date

As Bruce mentioned, if you Flag every message you reply to,
in particular threads, you could also sort by the Flag field
and group your replied to threads that way.

Similarly in order to include all your replies into a group
you could sort by From with Group by Conversation off
(i.e. messages unthreaded). Then to view the whole thread
for a selected message all you would need to do is toggle
Group by Conversation back on.[1]

[1] Note that in order for this to retain your position in that thread
when the message was inside a thread you would also have
to be operating with expanded threads. (Check option in Read tab:
Automatically expand grouped messages )

But after playing around with this for a while I think I like the ViewShow
Replies to My Messages option and now that I know the keyboard shortcut,
it's that much better.

So, problem resolved!

Thanks to everyone for their input!

Hi Folks!

I have poor eyesight. I use OE to access the MS ngs.

Is there any way to better highlight messages that I reply to than the
default of that teenie tiny little "arrow" that I can barely see? Any way
to highlight the header in a different color?
