Hi Folks!

I have poor eyesight. I use OE to access the MS ngs.

Is there any way to better highlight messages that I reply to than the
default of that teenie tiny little "arrow" that I can barely see? Any way to
highlight the header in a different color?

Tools | Options | Send | Mail Sending Format | Plain Text Settings. You can
set it to indent with the carat, a colon, : or a vertical line |. The line
may be best, but that's your choice.

You can create a rule to highlight messages with your address, but you won't
see them unless you expand the thread.

You can go to View | Current View and temporarily check Show Replies To My
messages. Quicker if you enable the Views Bar.

You can also make the message header fonts larger.

Right click on the Desktop | Properties | Appearance. If there is an
Advanced button click that. In the Item drop-down box select Icon. Change
the font size there.

Note that this will change the font size in some other places as well.

Thanks, Bruce.

I looked around in ToolsOptions before I posted. I didn't see anything in
there that was an "obvious match" to what I want to do.

Unfortunately, your first suggestion didn't do anything. No change at all.

I tried the DesktopPropertiesAppearanceFont size. That changed the header
font size but I don't have a problem seeing that. It's that little icon to
the left of the header that I can't see very well.

Changing the View to Show Replies To My Messages seems to work pretty good
but if anyone knows how to change the font color of replied to headers, that
would be ideal.

Thanks!

Yeah, I do that on some messages and then I sort those messages to the top.

The problem with that is I reply to a whole lot of messages and if I did
that for every message I reply to that would fill the entire window then I
would always have to scroll way down to see new messages.

The ViewShow Replies To My Messages seems to be the way to go.

Thanks!

If you install OETool, there is a one button click to toggle between Show
All Messages and Shoe Replies To My Messages. It's freeware and it does a
few other things that are helpful.

If you're not using it for anything else, you could "Flag" the messages you
reply to. That should be a little easier to see.

Nope. Can't overlook something if you don't know about it in the first
place!

Nice.

But still, there should be an option to change the font color of message
headers based on some condition. You can do this for "watched messages",
ToolsOptionsRead tabHighlight watched messages.

So, I can actually do what I want if:

I "watch" every message I repy to then I can change the header color
Sort on a different column like Sent date

But after playing around with this for a while I think I like the ViewShow
Replies to My Messages option and now that I know the keyboard shortcut,
it's that much better.

So, problem resolved!

Thanks to everyone for their input!
