I had tried to locate my posting but it seemed truncated in the order of
date; cut short. It is displaying the most recent emails. I might be wrong, but it was not there resulted in duplication. You can delete them now. After your comment, I now recall how to apply additional addresses with comcast web mail; not with Outlook Express I originally thought. Thank you VMP PABear. Alan "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote in message ... I see that this is more or less a duplicate of your post in another newsgroup on 21 Feb-08: http://groups.google.com/group/micro...8e22a86a4ea3db You're going to get the same advice here. If you want to send from your account, first check with Comcast to see if it's possible, If so, they can tell you how to set up the account to use Comcast's outgoing server (SMTP). If you want to send from your address but want your correspondents to Reply To your address, put the address in the Reply Address field he Tools | Accounts | Mail | [comcast account] | Properties | General). However, understand that this would be a universal setting for all messages sent using the account (e.g., emails to family members and others who are not members of the organization). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ AlanB wrote: my actual email address is: Since I am president of small organization, i want my members to email me at presidentnjad.org. Actually this is pseudo address on top of my hidden real email address. How can i do that? |
