I presume that you are using Microsoft Works program and sending WPS
(word processing) or WKS (spreadsheet) files. It's not that Works is "too old", it's that it uses file formats that few other programs support. What you need to do in Works, is use the File, Save As function to save your Works files in a more common format and then send those files. For word processing files, select the RTF format. For spreadsheets, select XLS. Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with Microsoft Works news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.works.win You can also access the newsgroup via the web interface he http://www.microsoft.com/products/works/newsgroup.mspx (although the web page mentions Works 8, the newsgroup applies to all versions of Works for Windows) -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "pierre chavignot" wrote in message ... i tried to send music or poetry attachments ,but nobody can open it.somebody told me that "works" is too old and no web today can open it.may i find a free solution or be obliged to buy a new logicial for it?i got my computer only since februar ,of course nobody told me that when i bought it |
