... Tried what you suggested. No luck. Same result. Still hoping for a solution. You can use these programs to extract messages from the DBX files: DBXtract ($7): http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx There is also a free alternative to DBXtract, though not for DBXpress: http://www.insideoe.com/resources/tools.htm#macallan DBXpress: ($25) http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/Default.aspx DBXpress can also extract whatever deleted messages are still anywhere on the drive. -- Frank Saunders MS-MVP IE,OE/WM www.fjsmjs.com Do not reply with email |

Hey,
I was reading your thread bc i was having VERY simular issues as you were today,(though it was only my inbox that wasn't importing, all my other folders did, so it was probly operator error LOL) and i followed a link that P A sent and it WORKED!!! TY P A : ) I just wanted to post it for you techie in case our situations were the same; How do I import a single mail folder (*.dbx)? Create a new folder in Outlook Express named "temp". Copy any message into the new Temp folder. Close OE and rename "Temp.dbx" in your OE store folder. Now copy the *.dbx to be imported into the store folder and rename it to "Temp.dbx". Open OE and rename the Temp folder if desired. (see also: The Partial Backup) The "funny" thing about it was I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, and thought I missed a step, but when I went to open my mailbox my inbox had my restored mail in it!! I had to do a double take.......... good luck, i seriously feel your pain, i was working on this most of the day- UGH!! thanx to everyone for all of your wonderful knowledge : ) RG "techie" wrote: No, Stil not answered...
