Lost e-mails in Outlook Express
 

I have lost some of my messages in my 'Inbox' of Outlook express 6. I am
having no problems receiving messages now and if I scoll through the messages
I still have old ones there. It seems to have eliminated about 6 months
worth of e-mails. I realize now that I should not have kept them in the
inbox, but is there a way to retrieve the them? I have read a little about
the DBXtract and DBXpress programs out there.......will they work? Which one
should I use?

DBXpress is faster and has a Recover from Disk mode that no other utility I
know of has available. It is more expensive ($25) than DBXtract but it's
much faster working. Read about both of them at www.oehelp.com and make
your own decision. Good luck and remember, the longer you wait, the greater
the possibility that you will overwrite the information that the messages
used on the hard drive, making any recovery from disk more difficult and
perhaps even impossible.
