When I download video files that are in multiple messages in OE6 and
try to combine them I get an error "Command Failed To Execute" This occurs on larger files. I a particular files has say 100 parts and I try to "combine and decode" it will combine the messages and then when I try to save it will grind away for awhile and then give me the error message. If I select a smaller number of files to combine, eventually I will get to a point where I can succesfully save the file. The files are from a variety of different posters in different newsgroups so it seems unlikly that I have hit a bad file segment, plus I never have trouble with smaller files, say under 25 - 30 mb. Any thoughts? |

Try a different newsreader...
Is it really worth the hassle for illegal downloads? "Jimmy" wrote in message ups.com... If using OE5 and above, turn off the Preview Pane (View, Layout) to
avoid the delays with OE searching for hyperlinks. You can add a button to the tool bar for this. Also see ErrMsg The Command Failed to Execute (Saving Attachments) http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=171464 -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Jimmy" wrote in message ups.com...
