Can delete Addressbook.reg?
In the root folder of both my E: there is a file Addressbook.reg (12/8/06)
with 0 bytes; similarly on J: (8/14/06) with 0 bytes. Can I delete either or both of these? Thanks, Don Culp |

What is the location of your identity's (or identities') message store
(http://www.insideoe.com/files/store.htm#storemain)? What are your E: and J: drives? Do you use OE-QuickBackup and are any of your backups located on your E: or J: drives? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Don Culp wrote: In the root folder of both my E: there is a file Addressbook.reg (12/8/06) with 0 bytes; similarly on J: (8/14/06) with 0 bytes. The store file is in "F:\Outlook Express files". These files are
automatically backed up each day to "J:\Backup\Outlook Express files". E: is a partition of drive 1. It has only program files. J: is a separate physical drive. It is used mainly for backup (no active files). The OE-QuickBackup files are located on J:\Backup (last backed up 3/15/08). Don Culp "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote in message ... Don't delete either file (unless you want your backups to be worthless).

Yeah, you can delete these. These are generated by OEQB and are backups of
this registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB I don't know why they are zero bytes, but you don't need those files. steve "Don Culp" wrote in message ...
