If I double click on a message it properly opened in a new window but a
large part of that window is used up with a expanded header: From Org date newsgroup org attachment Can't see where to get rid of this and it makes going to full screen view useless. Thank you SG |

I get the same, sans *Org*. The best thing you could do it to get OETool,
(Freeware), that has a button to open Full Screen and that's exactly what you see. It does a lot more too. Change ID's, Switch between Plain Text & HTML, Compact your folders and much more. www.oehelp.com/OETool/ -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "shakey" wrote in message ... Try using OETool (a free utility) to work around the problem. Just click on
the Full Screen button to see the message as you want it to be. http://www.oehelp.com/OETool/Default.aspx -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. New window Bruce-Jim FOLLOWUP ?
Works good. One question though---Is there a way to advance to the next
message when in full screen mode without backing out "alt-f4" and then selecting next message and full screen? Sorry for he trouble but I appreciate your help. SG "shakey" wrote in message ... Thank you SG Click View in a message window and make sure All Headers is not checked. It won't really help much. -- Frank Saunders, MS MVP, OE,WM Please reply in newsgroup. Do not send email! |

No, that option is not built in. Either use Alt+F4 or right click anywhere
in the window to bring up a dismissal window. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 "shakey" wrote in message ... Works good.
