Problem importing mail
I've just formatted my HD and saved my identities folder to CD before doing
so.. The problem I now have is when I import my inbox.dbx, once it reaches message 57 of 138, it stops then congratulates me and says everythings been successfully imported...Is there any other way I can access my missing mail? Thanks Kerry |
Problem importing mail
Create an 'old inbox' folder in OE.
Copy one message into old inbox. Rename the saved inbox.dbx to old inbox.dbx. Move old inbox.dbx to the OE store folder. You cannot import from a CD, since files on a CD have the Read-Only
attribute set. Copy the files to a folder you create on your Desktop, then right click them and clear the Read Only attribute (under Properties). Then open Outlook Express and try the import. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
