How to load email into different folders?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to load email into different folders?
If I have two email accounts, I would like to create 2 Inbox folder for each email account, therefore, when I check emails, each email account will load his emails into its folder, rather than loading all emails into a single Indox folder. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any suggestions Eric |

Managing mail messages with rules
When you have large volumes of incoming e-mail, Outlook Express can help you process it more efficiently. You can use rules in Outlook Express to automatically sort incoming messages into different folders, highlight certain messages in color, automatically reply to or forward certain messages, and much more. Hi Eric,
Here is a PDF article pertaining to your query. http://www.simplygraphix.com/OE-rules.pdf You will notice it is for Outlook Express version 5, however it applies to version 6. If you are going to have more than one rule than in the second selection box I would also check "Stop processing more rules". First, create a local folder to be used as a second Inbox and name it
anything you want. (Inbox-2)? Use this for one of the accounts, and the default Inbox for the other. Then create a message rule. Where the message is from the specified account. Move it to the specified folder & Stop processing more rules. Click on: Specified Account and enter the account name for the second Inbox. Click on: Specified Folder and select the folder you created. Name the rule. Move this rule to the top of the rules list and the incoming messages will be separated into their respective folders. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Eric" wrote in message ...
