Does anybody know what an assertion is?
I get this message : Debug assertion failed.
For info. on how your program can cause an assertion failure see
the visual C + + documention on asserts.
I don't understand any of this. I didn't try to debug anything.

It sounds as if there's a 3rd party program interfering with OE. Disable
email scanning, any antispam software or anything else that might involve
OE. Then see if that fixes it.

Where are you seeing this in IE or OE?
This group is for OE.

The complete error message is needed.

Have you run an updated AV check?

Possible Virus:

iSpyNOW

I think that you need to contact Samsung?

I found this review of a Samsung monitor:

Experienced Samsungs great service, but just so-so monitor software.
By FDL332 11/20/2005

Cons:
The software included with the 910t I suspect is not compatible
with Windows XP, and instructions aren't clear in that regard. Samsung
service told me not to use Magic Tune. I loaded and am using Natural Color
software. But every 3 or 4 bootups I see a Microsoft pop-up that reads,
"Debug Assertion Failed" on Natural Color Load.exe. Yet it still works when
I use it.

Comment:
The 910t is a beautiful large size monitor for games, digital
photo storage and everyday database use.

Sorry it took me so long to reply,I've been sorting things out all day- slow
computer.. Had problems keeping McAfee privacy and Spam block deleted. Every
time I rebooted they were back on.
I got a message my subscription expired. After checking my settings
I found I didn't have any protection. Guess what I did I deleted from add
and remove programs one at a time. Progressively noticing a quicker response
to my rebooting. I went to Microsoft security center
found I had protection -firewall-antivirus, these were uninstalled.
Anyway back to nitty-gritty's. I was on the phone about 2 hrs. with
Samsung support. Samsung approved this monitor computer relationship in
their testing before marketing. We checked my Intel visual graphics # they
matched. When I went to use magic tune windows said the computer didn't
support Magic tune. Sam, supp. told me it was a windows problem. Magic tune
has settings for 5 different
users. and can do a finer adjustment, But I finally gave and deleted it.
I like this 19 " It is easier on the eyes. I'll proceed from here and how
things work out. Thanks to all

I deleted Magic tune
