Define account. Is this a second e-mail address using the same mail server?
Did you register the e-mail address and password with your server/ISP?

OE doesn't care what the mail server password is. It merely stores it
for you and passes it to the mail server when it asks.

You need to set the mail account up on the mail server first, then use
whatever settings it wants.

Bruce
Thanks for your attention.
My ISP is British Telecom(BT) and have two mail accounts working OK.
I tried to opena third one. The setup details are exactly
match of the present accounts using the same password
as those of the current accounts.
I also log in withe same password without any problem.
Infact I use one password for all log ins.
I do not have to register my email address with ISP.
My primary email address is also my "User's Name"
to log into the internet.

I just looked at your ISP's site and don't see why it does not work. What
exactly happens when you try to log in? Any error message?

You said "I do not have to register my email address with ISP", but the
BT Yahoo pages say that you do.

Setting up email accounts in Outlook Express
Note, if you are trying to create an email address for someone else in
your household you must first set them up with a sub account so that the
new address will be recognised by the BT Yahoo! mail servers. Once that
is done you can follow the instructions below so that email to and from
the address can be managed via Outlook Express.

Michael

I have with BT Primary and a Secondary email addresses.
The process is not very clear to me when you say I have to register the new
email first with BT?. When I setup last time my secondary address I did
just it a normal way by using Add command without any problems..

Please a further advice would be appreciated?
