VIEW MENU\ TEXT SIZE
 

After I start Outlook Express and go to the VIEW MENU, the TEXT SIZE option
and others are greyed-out.

If I open a message the VIEW MENU works fine and I can change the size of
the text.

How can I restore the TEXT SIZE menu ?

VIEW MENU\ TEXT SIZE
 

If you are reading in HTML, you can change the text size. If you are reading
in Plain Text, the size is Fixed. You can temporarily change the size in
Plain Text by holding down the Ctrl key and turning the mouse wheel.

Tools | Options | Read
Uncheck Read all messages in plain text.
