Is there a fix in OE6 for opening pps files other than having to save to
hard drive ?

Thanks

Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works and then check the box: Always
use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open
these attachments in the future.

If still no joy:

Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Outlook Express using XP/SP2
or XP/SP3:

Thanks Bruce:

I'm just a little reluctant on using 3rd party fixes unless approved by
Microsoft for their products. Guess I will continue to just save to HDD and
open with PPT Viewer, just one extra step.

Thanks for the quick reply.

You can trust it. Ramesh Srinivasan is a long time MVP. I have used this fix
on countless computers.
