Yahoo Browser took over for IE in OE
 

I upgraded to Yahoo/SBC/AT&T DSL now when I click on a link in Outlook
Express the web page launches in the Yahoo Browser. I can't find the section
to make I.E. my primary browser. I don't care for Yahoo's graphics.
How can I fix this?

Hi Mary,

Try using Internet Options Control Panel (or from the IE Tools menu) |
Programs Reset Web Settings to restore IE as the default browser. Another
place where this might be done is in Set Program Access and Defaults, from
Add/Remove Programs Control Panel or Win XP Start menu,(click on Custom) to
reset IE as the default.

Actually, it was just "SBC Yahoo! DSL Service" from the year (2002) that
SBC contracted with Yahoo! to provide Internet content to SBC customers
until Dec. 31, 2005. Since Jan. 1, 2006 it is just "AT&T Yahoo! HSI".
Yahoo! only provides Internet content, on contract, to AT&T customers.

I would suggest removing anything SBC, or SBC Yahoo! in "Add/Removed
Programs". The only exception would be if you have a Windows 98/ME, or
Windows 2000 computer directly connected to the DSL modem, in which case
you will need the connection manager installed. With either Windows XP, or
a router, or even the latest issue modems (SS5100B or SS4100), the
connection can be managed by the computer (Windows XP), the router, or the
modem.
