is there anyway I can restore my wab file?..

help..I had to reinstall all my software inc window xp home before I did it
I copied my 'wab' file to a disk that is all i copied I was told that was all
i needed and when I reinstalled express i could just copy the web file off the
cd and place it back in the directory..well now I can't open it and can't import it.

is there anyway i can get outlook express to recognize my wab file?..or any other
program that could open the file so i could print out the information and then re type it
in thanks jlm

Have you made sure it is not Read Only? If it was on a CD it probably is.

If it still won't work, double click it and export it as a Text (Comma
Sepaaraed Values) file and import that into OE's Address Book.

Hi,

You can try data recovery tools in this case to restore file. The truly
mighty utls can really help. Such tools I consider really awesome are
Active@ Undelete and Uneraser(for pure DOS). Their restore algorithm is
mighty indeed, never failed me before. Give it a chance.
