Default email folders

is there a way to create folders for incoming email messages in outlook
express 6.0 I have an imap account (aol) and want to create rules for the
incoming emessage that would go to certain folders.

OE rules do not work on IMAP or HTTP mail. You need to make the rules at
the server level.

You would need to go online at the AOL web mail site and create rules
there. Also folders. Keep in mind, this keeps the mail on the AOL server.
If you wish to create local folders, and use rules, the only way to make
this work is to manually apply the rules to get the email from the server
to the local folders.
