well - not quite!! I set up the calendar with appointments but it doesn't
remind me. Just sits there. Made sure Works was open but still no pop up
reminder about appts. Is it just that you need to look at the calendar each
day?? Maybe best to just go back to writing on a calendar on the wall!!!
As you can see I'm fairly new at this. Any comments appreciated. The
wizard didn't answer question

Looked promising, but none of the internal links to the program, download
or
buy, worked.

Got a cell phone? Use that calendar for an audible reminder.

Well, it's a thought.

See if you can find an exe called WKCALREM. If you do, create a shortcut to
it and copy/paste that shortcut in your STARTUP folder.

But, you can't get Windows Live Calendar as a stand-alone program. It's incorporated with Windows Live Hotmail.

I have a Live account which provides a mail address.
I guess I do have to use that Live ID in association with the calendar
function but the calendar function is accessed using Windows Live Mail.

BTW why are you using Quoted Printable? It makes composing replies
unnecessarily difficult for others.

How so, and what is the preferred encoding method?

MIME/None. But I see you changed to Base64. When someone using OE replies to
a Quoted Printable post, OE does not indent the original message with the
's

That explains why some posts that I respond to don't follow the options I've set. Thanks
