What has happened is my parents have got a new harddrive. Instead of
transfering their mail accross, they just created a new ID, so what has happened is, the previous email is sitting on drive e: and now new mail is sitting on drive c:, as new mail has come in. What I have done, is restored the previous emails into the main identity and so that it didn't overwrite what new mail had been downloaded, I moved all the mail into a new folder, called new inbox and new deleted and new sent items. Great!....but now I cannot for the life of me manage to merge them! I have now got heaps of dbx files called new inbox etc, from trying different things, however, when I copy it across to the Main identity, it is all there, in the folder, but I just cannot seem to access it. There are files in there, as they range in size one is 3.851KB. So what I need to know is, how the heck do I retrieve these emails??? Thanks in advance! |

I am not clear on what all you did.
To move email from one Identity to another, File, Import, Messages, OE6, select an Identity or Select a store directory and point to the location. -- Ronald Sommer "Shaz" wrote in message ... In the new Identity, go to File | Import | Messages and point to the
Identity on the E drive and import it that way. Otherwise you can manually import individual dbx files as described he www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#imp1 You probably have duplicates now and my OEX program (www.oehelp.com/OEX/) will remove those. cheers, steve "Shaz" wrote in message ...
