You could...
1. Password-Protect your (and any other) identity: http://www.insideoe.com/tips/forceid.htm and/or... 2. Password-Protect your (and any other) User Account: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u.../accounts.mspx -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Jean-Paul De Winter wrote: When somebody opens my OE everybody in my family can see all my emails. If your computer is running Windows 98/ME, then the answer is, "No". Anybody who knows how to navigate the file system can find your email. If your computer is running Windows 2K/XP/Vista, then the answer is a qualified, "Yes". Set up a user account for yourself, preferably limited. Create a password so anybody trying to access your data needs to know a user name and password. Don't give those out to anybody whom you don't want accessing your files. The qualification is that anybody accessing that computer as "Administrator" has tools to poke around your files. Or using a "Live Boot" CD with an operating system that can read the NTFS file system. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
