Expanded Email Addresses
I would like to see email addresses expanded in TO and FROM fields in the
compose window and the view windows. Is this possible and if yes, how? Thanks. |
Expanded Email Addresses
No, not possible but often requested. It will be standard in the next
version of a Mail program called Windows Mail in the operating system now known as Vista due to be released later this year. But, there will be no feature requests added for any version of Outlook Express. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. Thanks. "MikeV06" wrote in message ... I would like to see email addresses expanded in TO and FROM fields in the compose window and the view windows. Is this possible and if yes, how? Thanks. |

Expanded Email Addresses
IE7 is a standalone package (presently in beta2) and does not include any
update to Outlook Express, which is no longer considered to be a part of Internet Explorer. It's reached the end of its road and will not be updated any more. Windows Mail Desktop will be a download available from Microsoft for earlier operating systems. It will be primarily supported by advertisements which will allow it to be maintained and updated more frequently than has been the practice for Outlook Express. At least, that is the hope of those who plan these things at MS. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 "MikeV06" wrote in message ...
