Missing start Icon...it just vanished.
Have improvised by entering programfiles and making shortcut from
msimn.exe to desktop. After wasting hours over several evenings and discovering that Icons are a 'complex' issue, of many types, and the main XP group being imbeded in a dll file; accessable via some arcane translation table. MY QUESTION SIMPLY IS, what do you recommend and am I able to do it?! I did search the Newsgroup before posting, finding only 1 similar entry which seemed to be related to agressive defraging. I did not understand the advised solution. With humility, dryfly, Newtown, Pa. |
