Spell check not working
 

WinXp, Office 2k, OLE6.x.

Spell check works fine in Word but not in OLE.
Click on Tools, spelling.... and I get an OK msg everytime, even if I know a
word is mispelled.
Tried all kinds of variation of misspelling words but still get OK msg.

Check your settings in: Tools | Options | Spelling.

Not sure what I did but I unchecked "The original text in a reply----" and
it's working.

Guessing when that box is checked, it's doesn't check anything? Or maybe it
just needed a good kick.

YW. Glad it's working.

Could be because of where the cursor was placed with the option that you
unchecked, but I have always had Check the original message unchecked. Why
should I do their work for them? VBG

I think you're right. With that option checked, it doesn't seem to check
your reply text. However, if you select (highlight) *your* text in the
reply, then the spell checker does work. (Well it does for me!)
