Connect & disconnect speakers

I'm told that connecting and/or disconnecting the speakers from the PC w/o
turning off the PC first could injure the PC or the speakers. Any comment?
Thanks. Retrac

Connect & disconnect speakers

Doing so would not "injure" Outlook Express.

I would most definitely turn off the speakers before
disconnecting/reconnecting them, however.
