Send/Receive dialogue box won't close
 

I noticed that a friends Outlook Express has a strange problem. It works
fine but each time he clicks on the Send Receive button the dialogue box
remains on the screen after his one account has been checked and he has to
click on Hide or the red cross to get rid of it.

I have been through the Options but can't find any tick that seems relevant.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Send/Receive dialogue box won't close
 

Send/Receive dialogue box has a Pushpin which is located in lower-left
corner of the dialogue box. Unpush the Pushpin button and the dialogue box
will be automatically closed.
