Thanks, Bruce. I finally got to try out your suggestion today. It worked
great, when I didn't use the "stop processing more rules." Pretty weird, huh? "Bruce Hagen" wrote: First, create a local folder to be used as a second Inbox and name it anything you want. (Inbox-2)? You're welcome. Did you move this rule to the very top of the list?

It is not weird. It depends on other rules that you may have.
Is there a reason why you didn't add Stop processing more rules? It is recommended that you add Stop processing. -- Ron Sommer "Steve B." wrote in message ... Thanks, Bruce. It turns out that I did need to keep the stop processing more rules. I ended
up creating two Inboxes as sub-folders to Local Inbox. I called them Inbox1 and Inbox2. I set up rules for each of these 2 inboxes. Now it works perfectly. My email goes into each of these 2 new inboxes and nothing goes into the main Local Inbox. The only thing that I can't figure out is how to retrieve my Hotmail Bulk Mail using the pop3 format in outlook express. Any ideas? "Ron Sommer" wrote: It is not weird. Any ideas is easy. An good ideas is harder. :-)
The pop3 format only downloads from the server Inbox. Is this a one time transfer or something that needs to happen on each download? -- Ron Sommer "Steve B." wrote in message ...
