IE6 hangs

Recently when opening IE6 I find that after the home page starts it then
"hangs" and nothing can be done to
get it going. Even clicking on any Favourite, nothing
happens. All my Anti Virus, Spybot, Adaware are up to date. Any ideas
appreciated...thanks
