Mail Problem

For some unknown reason my Outlook Express changes the designation for
my incoming POP3 server everytime I shutdown and restart my computer. I
have to go into "Tools", "Accounts", "Servers" to change it back so I
can get my email. My incoming email server is "mail.atcc.net" and it
changes itself to "127.0.0.1" Any ideas?

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as
time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will
continue to protect you sufficiently.

Sounds like you have an antispam program installed, like maybe McAfee's
SpamKiller program? This one changes the incoming email server to
127.0.0.1.

If so then you can get more information at their support forum(s):
