Mail Problem
For some unknown reason my Outlook Express changes the designation for
my incoming POP3 server everytime I shutdown and restart my computer. I have to go into "Tools", "Accounts", "Servers" to change it back so I can get my email. My incoming email server is "mail.atcc.net" and it changes itself to "127.0.0.1" Any ideas? |

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "lgraber" u20190@uwe wrote in message news:5de6b55bccfaf@uwe... Sounds like you have an antispam program installed, like maybe McAfee's SpamKiller program? This one changes the incoming email server to 127.0.0.1.
