I used the Gateway 'restore' disk to put a new OS (WinXP Home) back on my
computer. It puts all your old files into a 'backup' folder so all the old stuff is still available - but how do I find my old address book. I have searched for *.wab and don't see any results. I presume it was in the user/local settings/application data/identities/xxxxxxx/microsoft/outlook express However, everything in this location is years old, and contains nothing that looks like an address book. I know I should have exported a copy - but I didn't. So where is it hiding - anyone know? Bob |
