Our accounting system uses MAPI to email inovices, etc. out through Outlook.
If I set up outlook for faxing, is there way for the same process to 'tell'
outlook to fax the message and attachment(s) instead of emailing them? (for
example, can I replace the email address with, say, a fax number?

Clarify your question. Programming questions belong in a programming group.
Outlook invokes the fax service as the transport for any fax address. What
makes you think it doesn't?
