Drag and Drop Emails

I file emails from my outlook inbox into pst folders by dragging and dropping them. Whenever i drag an email into a folder it picks up the whole folder and drags that into another folder creating a sub folder......this is driving me crazy as this never used to happen - is it my mouse playing up? Is there anyway of locking the folders so they cannot be moved but still able to have emails dragged and filed into them? thanks

Dear Sally, please select the specific email and drag the selected email and it will drag that one only.It should work on Outlook 2003 and 2007.

Hi Sally,

I understand that this behavior started suddenly? Did you know what was changed? did you install an addin for Outlook? You can check for that in the Outlook "trust center".

As an alternative filing method you could try using an Outlook add-in that automates email filing such as ours and there are also others.
