Mail Will NOT Leave OUTBOX
Hi,
I have a computer XP SP2 Outlook 2003 all latest updates and mail will not leave the outbox. I have started Outlook in safe mode and still won't leave outbox. I have manually forced it to go and also checked all settings to automatically send etc. It does not error but messages will not leave the outbox. When I close Outlook it says there are messages in outbox, wait 30 seconds etc. This is the only message that comes up. Otherwise Outlook does not seem to think it has a problem. Even if I delete the messages in the outbox and create a brand new one it still will not send even a simple test email. Yes it is italicised and I have tried all the obvious fixes but still it refuses to actually send even though the progress meter says it has completed sending. HELP! thanks Paddy. |

Enable diagnostic logging and see what's happening in the handshaking between the client and the server. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300479/en-us -- Brian Tillman |
