in outlook 2000, open the sent message and look on the actions menu. Note

The included help within Outlook itself when searching on "recall" should already mention that this features requires the use of the MS Exchange mail server. Without Exchange, the method used is to send yet *another* new e-mail trying to recall the first one, and it rarely works.
