Yahoo mail messages cause Outlook to crash

Some recent messages from Yahoo have caused my Outlook (Office 2003) to
crash. I try to open the message, nothing happens for a while and then
I get the window that says sorry, Outlook has to close, would I like to
send an error message to Microsoft.

Has anyone else had this problem? A friend noted that the Yahoo
messages now include Yahoo! Messenger with Voice which seemed to be an
embedded attachment and contains and HTML divider bar. No hidden
graphic elements, however.

Can somebody suggest a change of Outlook parameters that will prevent a
crash?

Thanks,

click on the links in the error dialog and see if it says what files
experienced problems. There are usually two listed (but not always.)

Yahoo mail messages cause Outlook to crash

Diane,

I am not exactly sure what you are asking for, but here is some info.
When I click on "What data does this error report contain," I get to a
window with "error signature" at the top. This contains the following:

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.5510.0 AppStamp:3f1380f0
ModName: pgpexch.dll ModVer: 7.0.3.0 ModStamp:3a5ddcf7
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00010292

Under reporting details, I click on "View the contents of the error
report" it says the following files will be included in this error
report. It then lists C:\DOCUME~1\William\LOCALS~1\Temp\250760984.cvr.

Is this what you wanted to know?

Would it help if I sent you an email from my Yahoo account? If so,
please give me an email address.

Thanks,

that's what I wanted. pgpexch = pgp addin. It's somehow interacting poorly
with the yahoo messages. Either disable it or see if there is a fix for it.
http://www.google.com/search?as_q=pgpexch&num=100 - the first one says
"Indeed PGP Desktop 7.1 does not support Outlook 2003. You should either
revert back to Outlook 2000 or upgrade to PGP Desktop 8.x/9.x."
