Could not connect to mail server

Hi,

Hope someone can help me.

One of my users is keep losing the connection to the exchange server. The
connection gets established after a short period but then it looses the
connection again.

I do not think it is the NIC, because this occures when the onboard NIC is
used but also when the WiFi connection is used.

The problem is that when loosing the connection the mails in the outbox are
not send and the mail is not received.

Any idea what could be te problem?? This is the only user with this problem

Thx...

I will see what I can do to help but this can be many different
possibilities and do not really have alot of information at this point.

I would have to agree that it is not the NIC if happening on both but there
may be a common denominator. Does the issue happen on the WiFi at all
locations or just specific and same location as the NIC? If the issue of
connection and time out is happening in the same location both on direct and
wireless then check connectivity problems with routers and such.

Also does the laptop have its own built in connectivity setup e.g. IBM have
IBM Connections and we have found removing that and using windows has been
much less problematic for our users.

Have you tried increasing the server time out for the server to see if this
helps solve the issue?
