Outbox on Outlook
When I type a letter in Word and then try to email it directly from that
program, it sends the letter over to Outlook and it sits in my Outbox without being sent until I open it up and click on send. Is there a way to set this up so it automatically will send all mail in the Outbox??? |

Is "Send immediately when connected" checked? -- Brian Tillman Thanks for the response. Yes, the box is checked and mail is sent and received without a problem, except when I don't have Microsoft Outlook 2003 open, the mail still just sits in the Outbox when I try to mail photos from Corel or mailing documents from Word. I can then open the item from Outlook and click "Send" and it will email without a problem. Any ideas on how I can make Outlook automatically send those items without it being open? When Outlook is open on the desktop, everything works fine. Maybe there is no other way??? |

This is normal behavior. If Outlook isn't running, it cannot send messages. I can then open the item from Outlook and click "Send" and it will email without a problem. There is no way for Outlook to send mail when it's not running. -- Brian Tillman |
