Autocomplete function works only once

Hi, I have just installed Outlook 2003 and updated it to SP2. I use the "To"
button to add a name to an e-mail (ex: Kyle Roberts ) and
send the e-mail. The next time I go into the to field and type ky... it
gives me the option to autocomplete the address. That is what I want, but
the problem is when I shutdown outlook and reboot all the autocomplete
information is gone. When I type ky... it doesnt give any options to
autocomplete and I need to browse the name in the contacts again. I have
searched the net and havnt been able to come up with anything. Any help
would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Kyle

Throughout researching I have realized I am supposed to have an NK2 file in
"AppData\Microsoft\Outlook" I have looked at my other computer running
outlok 2003 and I have this file, however on the affected computer there is
no sign of it. I have prefs set to view all files and have tried searches as
well (*.nk2) There isnt even a temporary nk2 file anywhere on the machine
while outlook is running like I kind of thought there may be.

Thanks for the help

Sounds like your mail profile may be damaged. Try a new one.

Was this an upgrade or clean install?
