Hello,
I would like to send the same email to a group I created. The only problem
is everyone in the group gets everyone elses email addresses. How do you send
without giving the whole group's email addresses? This is not for spam, just
my wife's mailing list.

Outlook doesn't have groups. Perhaps you mean a Distribution List. Put the
DL name in the Bcc field.

If I put the discussion group in bcc, how will I know if it was sent?

By checking your folder "Sent Items". If the mail does appear in this
folder (provided, you have enabled the according option in Outlook's
options) you can be sure that the mail has been sent. Double click the
mail to open it and you will see the recipients resp. the DL in Bcc.
