Could someone tell me why the text is not appearing when I try to compose an
email in Outlook? The cursor moves as I type but no characters appear. I
don't drink either, honest. Thank you.

Stop using Word as your email editor?

Change email format to plain text?

Do you have a stationery or signature?

Do you use word as email editor? Can we try elimnicating these possibilities
and check the behaviour?

You might also want to make sure that the font color is not "white". :)

Thank you An. The font color was indeed white! I don't know how it got that
way. Microsoft support had control of my computer yesterday and solved my
unrelated problem. Might have changed something without meaning to. Anyway,
changed it to black and the problem was solved. Thanks again
