What do I need to put vac. msg in my 2002 Outllook XP software?
 
In my office assistant menu, there is no option for a vacation message. Do I
need to buy a new version of software to get that feature or am I doing
something wrong?

If you're not connecting to an Exchange server (a business email server),
you'll have to create a rule and leave Outlook running:
