General notes: When you post in here, always include your version, SP level, and mode (if applicable) of Outlook - you can find this information in Help | About. Also include the type of mail account(s) you use and any other pertinent details. Be sure to put a consise summary of your question in the subject line, and the full details in the body of your post. |

Not sure what you mean - i just don't want to waste people's time when i post
in the wrong group - how will my reply alert others not to bother - they have to read my reply to find out not to bother - which is exactly what i was trying to avoid "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote: In , havenlad typed: Apologies - admin - please delete this thread There's no way for a sender to cancel a post - your reply alone will suffice to alert others that they needn't bother with it. ![]() "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" wrote: In , havenlad typed: Can it be changed to work as per 2000? However, in the MS public newsgroups you cannot cancel a post when you've submitted it. Even if you could cancel it, there are a gazillion places it will still exist (google groups, etc). Don't worry about it. All you need to do is precisely what you did - post a reply to your own post, saying "Never mind!" or something.
