Is it possible with Outlook 2003 to "archive" the entire work of one user in
order to set up another user "cleanly?" I recall OE having the "switch user" option, but that seems lacking in Outlook. I also want to be able, as needed, to access that archived data, especially the emails. I'd like to archive the previous user's email, address book, calendar, task list, etc. and then have a clean slate for the replacement employee to start with Thanks. -- Bill |

Just create a new mail profile. All existing data and email accounts will remain tucked away for access through the profiles created earlier for that user.
Or, better yet, give the new user their own WIndows login. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Bill H." wrote in message ... You can create a new mail profile in Control Panel, using the Mail applet. It's under User Accounts if you don't use the classic view.
